Recovery Food

Iced Tea (by the bottle) PHP 90
Their house blend iced tea had a slight calamansi taste to it, a bit too sweet for my liking though.
Barcia's Strips PHP 125
"Thinly sliced strips of pork, fried"
A sinful starter for our sinful meal, deep fried slices of half fat half pork. It was surprisingly not drenched in oil which made me feel a little less guilty.
Tapa de Morning PHP 260
(full recovery with brown rice)
"Homemade tapa, scrambled or fried egg, ensalada, organic plain rice (brown or white)"
Delicious tapa, but disappointing fried egg. I like the tapa but I'm not crazy about it, Grams Diner's tapa still stands as me and my mom's favorite!
Happy Beef Rice PHP 160
(regular size with brown rice)
"Tender beef rice topping with RF's special Beef Rice (brown or white)"
The sauce was sweet and the meat was tender. According to the waiter both the dishes that we ordered are their bestsellers.

It was my first time eating here and they obviously don't mean "recovery food" literally.
What's your idea of comfort food?
